On August 29, 2025, another clean-up was organized in the Enbekshi district of Shymkent. This time, the cleaning activities were held on Koykeldy Batyr Street . During the clean-up, residents of the district and representatives of special services worked together to improve the city's streets and improve sanitary conditions.

A number of activities were carried out within the framework of the holiday:

  • The roadsides were cleaned - the accumulated garbage was removed using special equipment;

  • The grass has been mowed – the lawns and walkways have been tidied up;

  • Trees and shrubs were trimmed and put in order - the street was beautified and the greenery was cared for;

  • Waste was removed - household and construction waste was taken to special locations.

All of these works were carried out with the aim of creating conditions for residents to live in a comfortable and clean environment.

The main goal of the holiday is to raise the environmental culture of the city's residents, increase the love of each citizen for their native land, and instill a sense of shared responsibility. Maintaining a clean environment is the responsibility of not only government agencies, but of the entire population.

The district administration, municipal service representatives, school staff, and ordinary residents actively participated in the cleaning event on Koykeldy Batyr Street. Armed with shovels, rakes, and brooms, the participants worked together to improve the beauty of the street.

One of the residents who participated in the Sabbath expressed his thoughts as follows:
"We are always happy to participate in such events. After all, a clean environment is the key to our health. If everyone keeps their yard and street clean, the whole city will be cleaner."

Another resident:
"We came here to set an example for our children. Maintaining cleanliness should not be limited to today's Sabbath. It should become a daily habit ," he noted.

It should be noted that the participation of young people in the Sabbath work was especially noticeable. Through such events, students and schoolchildren understand the value of labor and feel responsible for their native city. In addition, the Sabbath is an effective way to educate the next generation about the environment.

According to experts, in recent years the number of participants in the Shabbat has been increasing. This indicates the growing environmental culture of the population. As the city expands, the issue of maintaining cleanliness is also becoming more complex. Therefore, it is very important that such events are held systematically.

The Enbekshy district akimat announced that such Saturday cleanings will continue regularly. In September, sanitary cleaning works are planned on several streets. In addition, residents were urged to throw household waste in special containers and contribute to the cleanliness of streets and yards.

"A clean district means a comfortable life. If every resident remembers this motto, our city will become more beautiful ," the organizers said.

The Sabbath on August 29th is not just a one-day event, but a good tradition that serves as an example for society. As a result of these works, Koykeldy Batyr Street was renovated, creating a comfortable and clean environment for residents.

Cleanliness is a reflection of culture. Therefore, every citizen should contribute to keeping not only their home, but also their street clean.
