On September 6, 2025, a large-scale city-wide clean-up was organized in the district of Shymkent. This event was held as part of the nationwide "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign . Employees of the district akimat, employees of the "Enbekshi" municipal state institution, the team of "Inteko Group" LLP, as well as ordinary residents and active citizens, took part in the clean-up and beautification of the city.
Senbilik is not only a garbage collection event, but also a step aimed at increasing environmental culture in society. During the event, cleaning works were carried out in various parts of the district, and the territories of public places and social facilities were put in order. These works will strengthen the responsibility of residents for the environment and contribute to improving the sanitary condition of the city.
Extensive work was carried out within the framework of the holiday:
The grass was mowed , and excess green vegetation was removed using special equipment.
Tree branches were trimmed , and greenery in parks and streets was maintained.

The pedestrian paths were cleared of debris and leveled.
Garbage was collected and taken to designated locations.
The courtyard areas and public spaces have been improved, creating a comfortable environment for residents.
Sanitary cleaning work was carried out near social facilities .
As a result, several streets, courtyards, and public areas have become cleaner and more comfortable than ever before.
Employees of the institutions participating in the Sabbath worked tirelessly and in a coordinated manner. The activity of the residents was especially pleasing. Each resident contributed to cleaning not only their own yard, but also neighboring streets, doing something useful for society.
Employees of "Inteko Group" LLP mobilized heavy equipment to support garbage transportation and landscaping. Specialists of "Enbekshi" KMU worked on landscaping and contributed to the beautification of the streets.
This Saturday is not just a one-day clean-up, but also an initiative aimed at instilling an ecological culture in the minds of city residents. The gathered public was once again reminded that keeping the environment clean is the responsibility of every citizen.
According to environmental experts, the amount of household waste has increased in recent years, which has an impact on the environmental situation. Therefore, it is important to create a culture of not littering through Sabbaths.
One of the active residents who participated in the Sabbath, a citizen named Aidar, shared his thoughts:
"If such events are organized more often, people's attitude towards the environment will change. We are responsible for keeping the entire city clean, not just our own yard."
And pensioner Saule apay said:
"Cleanliness in the city is directly related to our health. A person who lives in a clean environment also has a good mood. Supporting such initiatives is the duty of every citizen."
The district akimat plans to hold such Saturdays regularly. In addition, special attention will be paid to introducing a culture of separate waste collection , conducting educational work among residents, and increasing green areas.
Environmental education activities will also be launched, involving schoolchildren, students, and volunteers. This will help to form a positive attitude towards nature in future generations.
The Saturday event, held as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign, not only demonstrated the unity of the city's residents, but also increased their responsibility for protecting the environment .
This event, held on September 6, was an important step towards developing environmental culture, improving the sanitary conditions of the district, and increasing the activity of residents.
