From the Address to the People of Kazakhstan by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dated September 8, 2025: Competition for transit routes is intensifying in the world. Cheaper alternative routes and new routes are being proposed. Kazakhstan needs to act proactively in this situation and always be one step ahead. This will contribute to increasing the transit potential of the country and strengthening its role in international transport corridors.

The Head of State also stressed the importance of comprehensive modernization of energy sources. Large-scale projects are being implemented with the participation of foreign investors. Over the next five years, it is planned to commission "green" energy facilities with a capacity of 6.3 gigawatts.

These initiatives are aimed at the sustainable development of Kazakhstan, ensuring its energy security, and increasing its international competitiveness.
