On September 13, 2025, the Shymkent Zoo team actively participated in the Saturday organized as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" republican environmental campaign. This initiative was an important step that not only aimed to protect the environment, but also called on every member of society to be compassionate towards nature.

"Zoo animals should live in a clean and safe environment. Their well-being also depends on our work. Therefore, I think this Sabbath is also part of caring for animals ," he said.

The "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign should not remain just a temporary event. It is the beginning of a year-round commitment to environmental responsibility. Zoo employees plan to organize regular clean-ups in the future and implement various projects aimed at protecting nature.
