Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov met with the athletes who won the world and Asian championship titles. In an atmosphere of shared pride, the athletes shared their impressions, and the mayor emphasized the importance of their outstanding achievements for the entire country.

Special thanks were extended to the masters of the leather glove, the Sabyrkhan brothers. Mahmud reached the top step of the podium for the second time, and his 19-year-old brother, Torehan, became world champion for the first time in his career, forever etching his name in history.

Shymkent sports boasts other achievements. Sanzhar-Ali Begaliyev won gold at the Asian Youth Championships in Bangkok. Galymzhan Temirbayev, a three-time world champion in togyzkumalak, demonstrated his skills at a tournament dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai. And Zhumazhan Kozhambekov, also a three-time world champion, won the military kazak kuresi title.

"Willpower, discipline, and dedication to sport lead to such results. The achievements of our athletes inspire young people and strengthen Kazakhstan's standing on the global stage," said the Mayor of Shymkent.

On behalf of the sponsors, the winners were presented with cars.

At the end of the meeting, the mayor congratulated the champions, thanked their coaches and mentors, and wished them new achievements and brilliant victories.
