Interactive meetings called "Bridge of Wisdom" are being held in Shymkent, organized by the Republican State Institution "Public Agreement" of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main goal of this initiative is to strengthen constructive dialogue between the Council of Elders, government agencies, and society, identify concrete mechanisms for solving social problems, engage young people in civic engagement, and develop their leadership skills.
The first meeting was held at the A. Kuatbekov Peoples' Friendship University and secondary school No. 96 in the Karatobe residential area. Today's meeting was organized at the Shymkent City Polytechnic College. The upcoming event will continue at the M. Utebayev College of Higher New Technologies and the "House of Friendship".
The meeting was attended by experts from the Public Agreement RMM of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Yerzhan Ibrayev and chief expert Botakoz Zharkynbekovna.
Also attending the meeting were Dr. Imanaly Baidauletov, member of the Council of Elders under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Shymkent, Doctor of Medical Sciences, scientist, Batyrbek Zhalmurzayev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and members of the Mothers' Council.
During the meeting, effective ways to increase youth civic engagement, maintain social harmony and unity, and solve social problems were widely discussed.
– The development of society primarily depends on the activity of the younger generation. “Bridge of Wisdom” is a golden bridge between the elderly and the young. Bringing wisdom and experience to the young is our main duty. Today’s youth are the pillars of tomorrow’s country. Their thoughts are fresh, their views are new. Through these meetings, we encourage young people to take an active position, not to be indifferent to social problems. The main goal of today’s meeting is to explain to young people the meaning of the values of social harmony and unity, to introduce them to the mission and activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. Currently, there are religious and ethnic conflicts in the world. We want young people to stay away from such alien trends and negative views. In addition, sometimes negative manifestations such as insulting the nation and discriminating against each other are observed on social networks. Such actions undermine the integrity of society. Therefore, we ask you to maintain peace and respect, and to value a peaceful life, - said expert Yerzhan Ibrayev.
The participants not only exchanged views, but also developed specific proposals and considered ways to implement them in the future. The "Bridge of Wisdom" project is an important initiative aimed at strengthening peace and unity in society and increasing the potential of young people.
