On September 20, 2025, a large-scale city-wide cleanup was held as part of the “World Cleanup Day” organized and supported by the Enbekshy District Akimat. The purpose of this event is to clean the district, streets and public places, increase environmental culture, improve the sanitary conditions of residents, and ensure a comfortable living environment.

The Enbekshi district akim's office actively participated in the cleanup. 500 employees of the district akim's office were mobilized and 30 units of equipment were involved. They collected 17 tons of garbage and took it to special landfills. This indicator clearly shows the scale and level of organization of the cleanup in the district.

The residents of the district also participated in the Saturday and made their contribution. A total of 3,706 people participated, demonstrating the residents' social responsibility and desire for joint work. Residents were active in cleaning their areas, streets and gardens, and collecting garbage.

The Ontustik industrial zone mobilized 2,000 employees and 4 vehicles. As a result, 5 tons of garbage were removed. And 200 employees of the Zhuldyz industrial zone worked with 2 vehicles and collected 1 ton of garbage. 300 employees of the AEA FEZ participated with 2 vehicles and collected 2 tons of garbage. These indicators show that each institution feels its responsibility and actively participates in the Sabbath.

From the Department of Environmental Development, 26 employees worked with 2 vehicles and collected 2 tons of garbage. 30 employees of the Construction Department collected 3 tons of garbage using 2 vehicles. The Shymkent SEC JSC Department mobilized 20 employees and 1 vehicle and collected 2 tons of garbage. The Department of Internal Policy contributed to the collection of 2 tons of garbage using 30 employees and 1 vehicle.

Municipal and industrial institutions also actively participated in the Saturday. "Vodokanal-1" LLP collected 1 ton of garbage with 30 employees and 2 vehicles, while "QazaqGaz Aimaq" CHP collected 2 tons of garbage with 60 employees and 1 vehicle. Enbekshi Electricity Distribution Department collected 2 tons of garbage with 30 employees and 2 vehicles. Enbekshi District Police Department collected 4 tons of garbage with 200 employees and 3 vehicles.

Social facilities mobilized 4,360 employees and 10 vehicles from 109 facilities, removing 12 tons of garbage. In addition, Petro Kazakhstan collected 3 tons of garbage with 300 employees and 4 vehicles.

In total, 11,792 employees participated in the cleanup in Enbekshy district, 66 pieces of equipment were deployed, and 58 tons of garbage were removed. This figure clearly demonstrates the scale of the cleanup and the joint participation of residents of the district, institutions, and organizations.

The main directions and content of the work carried out were as follows:

  • Cutting and collecting dead trees and branches;

  • Mowing, maintenance of lawns and green areas;

  • Technical work such as welding and painting;

  • Carrying out general sanitary cleaning work;

  • Tidying up streets, sidewalks, parks, playgrounds, and flower beds;

  • Collect waste in special bags and take it to the landfill.

During the weekend, participants also held activities aimed at increasing environmental culture. Residents, especially children and young people, were educated about proper waste separation, recycling, and ways to protect nature. This work will help form environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility in future generations.

The ability of the participants of the Sabbath to work together was also demonstrated. Teamwork, sharing of responsibilities, and coordinated actions allowed the Sabbath to be held effectively. Each employee and resident contributed their own contribution and contributed to achieving the overall result.

The active participation of city and district institutions, business entities, and social organizations increased the quality of the Sabbath. Such large-scale events increase the responsibility of residents for their territories and contribute to the formation of a culture of keeping the city clean.

In conclusion, the city-wide clean-up work organized by the Enbekshin district akim's office on September 20, 2025 as part of the "World Clean-up Day" was large-scale and effective. During the clean-up, the territories were put in order, 58 tons of garbage were removed, 11,792 employees and 66 pieces of equipment were mobilized. The work performed included garbage collection, cutting dead branches, mowing grass, welding, painting, and general sanitation.

This event demonstrated the joint efforts of residents, institutions and organizations, aimed at creating an ecological culture, keeping the city clean and providing a comfortable environment. All participants contributed, worked together, and improved the beauty and sanitary conditions of the district.
