In the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 8, 2025, the Government was instructed to develop a single conceptual document entitled "Digital Qazaqstan" for the development of digitalization and artificial intelligence. Within the framework of this document, all initiatives and projects will be coordinated with the national strategy.

Shymkent has signed agreements on the exchange of experience with international companies such as Dahua Technology, HikVision and other leading companies in the field of smart cities, security and digitalization. This agreement will give impetus to the introduction of new technologies into the city's infrastructure.

In addition, special attention is paid to the air cargo sector. In the Address of President Tokayev, it was noted that the situation in this sector is improving and there is a great opportunity to increase its volume. Shymkent airport was assigned a unique registration number KZ/RA3/00004-01 and was officially included in the European RA3 database. This status allows the airport to carry out direct cargo transportation to European countries without additional checks at transit points.
