The VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is taking place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on September 17-18.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will preside over this large-scale international event. More than 100 representatives from 60 countries will take part in the forum.

Among them are spiritual leaders of world religions, representatives of international organizations, experts, political scientists, as well as public figures.

Vietnam is represented by the Vice President, General Secretary of Execute Council of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien .
