On September 17, 2025, the Intellectual Property Rights Department of the Kostanay Region Department of Justice, together with the Interdistrict Territorial Enforcement Department of Kostanay, destroyed counterfeit products under the "StarLine" trademark in a total of 8 units in the amount of 123 000 tenge.

Counterfeit products were seized as a result of verification measures, according to a representative of the StarLine company. By the resolutions of the specialized Court for Administrative Offenses of Kostanay, three entrepreneurs were brought to administrative responsibility for the illegal use of someone else's trademark under Article 158 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and fined 30 MCI each.

Counterfeit products must be destroyed because they were produced without the permission of the copyright holder, are counterfeit and do not meet quality standards.
