Public hearings were held on the second line of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent main gas pipeline

Public hearings on the construction project of the second line of the Beineu–Bozoi–Shymkent main gas pipeline were held in Karmakshi district today. The event was held by the head of the district akim's office, Dias Moldabaev, who informed about the main objectives and socio-economic effectiveness of the project.
Talgat Buzaubaev, Chief Engineer of KazGiproNefteTrans LLP, Bakytzhan Ibadullayevich Myrzabekov, Chief Specialist of the Ecology Department, Inna Vladimirovna Bedareva, project developer, Nurgul Serikovna Urazalieva, leading specialist of ILF LLP, and Almas Zhanbolatovich Kanatbayev, Senior Manager of UCCBBS2 LLP, took part in the public hearings.
The main goal of the project is to provide the Southern region of Kazakhstan with reliable and long-term natural gas.
The total length of the pipeline is about 1,450 kilometers. The highway passes through the territory of Mangystau, Aktobe, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions.
The total duration of construction is planned for 41 months. Work is expected to begin in September 2025 and be completed in January 2029.
In order to provide the pipeline with constant pressure, several compressor stations will be built. Shift camps and maintenance areas are also designed in accordance with the requirements of the infrastructure and are located along the highway.
The project will be fully implemented in accordance with current sanitary and environmental requirements. After the gas pipeline is put into operation, it is serviced by JSC Intergas Central Asia.
During the public hearings, detailed information was provided by the representatives of the project and answers were given to the questions of the participants. Suggestions from local residents were also taken into account during the event.
