The new Tax Code will affect all sectors of the economy, from agriculture and tourism to industry and services. Therefore, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts explanatory work throughout the country. Seminars and meetings are organized for entrepreneurs and residents, where experts talk about the new rules and answer questions from entrepreneurs.

So, in Konayev, in the assembly hall of the Department of State Revenue for the Almaty region, a seminar for taxpayers of the region was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanybek Nurzhanov.

The city of Konaev is a young regional town near the shores of the Kapshagai reservoir, which is gradually strengthening its position in the field of domestic tourism in the region. Therefore, special attention was paid at the meeting to taxation issues in the tourism industry.

The new Tax Code provides for simplified tax regimes and reduced rates for entrepreneurs working in this field. Now there will be three of them. The first one is for self-employed citizens who will be able to pay a single payment, including income tax and mandatory pension contributions. The second mode is based on a simplified declaration and is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses: the tax will be only 3% of income. The third mode is intended for peasant (farm) farms with preferential rates, allowing farmers to invest more in the development of production.

"In addition, the new code is aimed at reducing the shadow economy and increasing transparency of financial flows. For the tourism business, this means not only fair competition, but also access to state support measures, including within the framework of state regional development programs. All this should stimulate the emergence of new recreation areas, improve the quality of services and increase the attractiveness of Kazakhstan in the international tourism market," said Zhanybek Nurzhanov.
