Mexico City, September 17, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mexico Almurat Turganbekov met with Director of the Raindrop School of Excellence Leticia Flores Gomez, who conducted a campus tour for the Kazakh side.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan promotes cooperation with Mexico in the field of education. Cooperation in this area has great prospects and remains one of the priorities for the Embassy’s activities.

For instance, in the state of Mexico, an educational institution led by Kazakhstani citizens has opened on the basis of an existing school. One of the distinctive features of the new school is that it offers the opportunity to study certain subjects in English, which is not entirely common for ordinary, inexpensive schools in Mexico. Another feature is that the school provides a full cycle of school and pre-school education in one complex.

Kazakh citizens stepped up with this idea in the state of Mexico, considering the growing need for affordable school education in the country. The Mexican government introduced special scholarships to give all children the chance to get an education.

The Embassy, in turn, also supported this idea and expressed its readiness to initiate additional Kazakh language lessons at the school, open a section for the intellectual game “Togyzkumalak”, and expand the school library’s collection with books about Kazakhstan.
