A ceremony was held in Aktobe to open an alley in honor of Otegen Seitovich Seitov, a prominent public and government figure, participant in the Great Patriotic War, and Prosecutor General of the Kazakh SSR, who dedicated his life to serving the law and his homeland.

A memorial plaque has been installed on the Alley in memory of Otegen Seitovich, who made a significant contribution to strengthening law and order, training young personnel, and developing the country's prosecutor's office.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence.

The event was attended by Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koigeldiyev, regional Akim Askhat Shakharov, heads and veterans of the prosecutor's office, and members of the public.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Prosecutor General emphasized that preserving the memory of worthy predecessors is an important tradition of the prosecutor's office and a symbol of the continuity of generations.

The regional akim noted the particular significance of Otegen Seitovich's example for the younger generation, emphasizing that his honest service to the Fatherland is a model for the younger generation.

Veterans of the prosecutor's office expressed sincere gratitude for the commemoration and emphasized that such initiatives help preserve history, strengthen patriotism, and respect for those who have dedicated their lives to law and justice.

The event took place in an atmosphere of pride and respect, serving as a vivid demonstration of the connection between generations and the preservation of the historical memory of outstanding figures in the prosecutor's office.
