malefactors are sending fake
violations of the Traffic Regulations en masse. Letters and
messages come to e-mail and messengers and contain
the data of drivers, car numbers and a link to "pay the fine".
In fact, this is a phishing attack. When entering bank card data, full access to your account is provided and all
funds can be stolen. In some cases, the link contains a virus to steal
personal data from the device.
To date, attacks have already been recorded in Russia and the USA,
therefore there is a risk of the spread of such a scheme in Kazakhstan.
Please note that official notifications about administrative fines
are sent only from the short number 1414 and do not contain payment links. Information about fines is also
sent via egov.kz and mobile banking apps.
If you receive a message about a fine from the 1414 number with a payment link, do not click on it! This is a scam! These messages are sent by fraudsters!
РWe recommend that: - do not follow links or open attachments from
questionable emails; - double-check information about fines only on official resources
egov.kz , qamqor.gov .kz and in mobile applications of banks.
If you have already clicked on the link and entered the data: - immediately block the bank card; - inform the bank and the police at 102 about
a possible fraud; - Check your device for a virus.
Stay alert. Warn your loved ones. Don't give the scammers a chance!
