For the second year in a row, employees of the Constitutional Court took part in a coastal cleanup campaign in Astana. The initiative is part of the global World Cleanup Day campaign and the #EUBeachCleanup environmental campaign organized by the European Union Delegation and the Embassy of Estonia in Kazakhstan. This year, participants cleaned up the Esil River embankment.

A total of about 400 people took part in the event, including diplomats, eco-activists, representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and residents of the capital.

World Cleanup Day is one of the largest global movements, bringing together millions of volunteers, governments, and organizations. In 2023, the movement brought together 19 million participants from 198 countries and territories. Since 2024, World Cleanup Day has been declared an official UN Day, celebrated annually on September 20, and has now been added to the Calendar of International Days and Weeks.
