Prague, September 18, 2025 – The Kazakh company Astana Motors, in partnership with Chinese automaker Chery, held an official presentation to announce the brand’s entry into the Czech market and the opening of its first dealership in Prague.

The event was attended by Nurlan Smagulov, Founder of Astana Motors, Bakyt Dyussenbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic, Jeff Zhang, Vice President of Chery International and CEO of Chery Europe, as well as automotive experts, Czech business representatives and journalists.

The Czech market launch features crossovers available in five gasoline and hybrid versions, with the flagship Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV set to be introduced by the end of the year. Participants of the presentation had the opportunity to explore the full TIGGO lineup and be among the first to test drive the vehicles.

To ensure the sustainable development of its automotive business, the Kazakh company has established its subsidiary Astana Motors Czech and launched a dealership network covering all regions of the country.

The official launch of this automotive project opens up new opportunities for strengthening trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic.
