A delegation from the Kyzylorda region, led by Akim Nurlybek Nalibayev, arrived in the Abay region for the Days of Culture of the Kyzylorda region and laid flowers at the «Abay Uldarymen» monument in Semey. The delegation included Senate and Majilis deputies N. Baikadamov, R. Rustemov, and M. Ergeshbayev; Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans S. Duisenbayev; veterans of the region; members of the intelligentsia; the Turmagambet folk orchestra, symphony orchestras, the «Syr Samaly» vocal and instrumental ensemble, the «Tomiris» dance ensemble, a choir, and other artists. Members of the delegation from our region visited the Abai State Historical, Cultural, and Literary Memorial Museum-Reserve «Zhidebai-Bоrіlі» and viewed its valuable exhibits.
Abai Region Akim Berik Uali presented the guests with the «Semey Smart City» microdistrict construction project. The new district, located in the northern part of the city, will feature residential complexes for 75,000 residents, over 40 administrative, commercial, and social facilities, as well as parks.
As part of the «Abaiga Qurmet» campaign, initiated by the head of state, 11 regions of the country submitted proposals for the construction of one facility in Semey. The Mangystau Region laid the foundation for the Friendship House. The city of Shymkent is a creative hub, the Turkestan region is an exhibition center, the city of Astana is the Keleshek school, the Aktobe region is a martial arts center, the Pavlodar region is a table tennis center, the North Kazakhstan region is Symbol Square, the West Kazakhstan region is a linear park, and the East Kazakhstan region is the Irtysh embankment improvements.
Kyzylorda Region Akim Nurlybek Nalibayev expressed his support for the head of state's initiative.
«We wish you success in all your endeavors. You have undertaken this major project with the support of the head of state and the government. We will also contribute to this noble cause. There is an «Anaga Taghzym» center in Kyzylorda. We plan to build a similar building», - said N. Nalibayev.
The delegation visited «Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan», one of the country's leading bus assembly plants, located in Semey, as well as «SemAZ», which assembles trucks and special-purpose equipment, and Kazpoligraf, which specializes in the production of various printed materials. They expressed interest in these companies' products and a willingness to collaborate further.
