The State Revenue Department of East Kazakhstan region reports that according to Order of the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 2, 2025, No. 342, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 8, 2025, No. 36809, a three-month ban was imposed on the import of stone products into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from third countries by all means of transport. The ban applies to products with the following commodity nomenclature codes of the Eurasian Economic Union: 6801000000 (paving stones, marble stones, and slabs), 6802230000 (granite for monuments or construction and products from them, hewn or sawn), 6802931000 (polished or otherwise processed granite), and 6802939000 (granite for monuments or construction), with the exception of carved granite with a net weight of 10 kg or more.
