On September 21, 2025, an annual City Day festival “Alma Fest” was held in the park of the First President. On the alley of the "United Nations", 7 tents of representatives of the Consulates General in Almaty were placed, who exhibited their national products, dishes and souvenirs. The participating countries were the Consulates General of Germany, Iran, China, Korea, Poland, Türkiye and Uzbekistan. The festival was also attended by Akim of Almaty city Darkhan Satybaldy and the Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov.
