New York, 22 September 2025 - H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations. The President of Kazakhstan and Secretary-General António Guterres discussed the agenda of the session of the UN General Assembly.

H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed that Kazakhstan will continue to support the Organization and actively contribute to its central role in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development.

During the meeting, in the presence of the President and the Secretary-General, a Memorandum on the functioning of the United Nations Regional Centre on Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan was signed.
