Ethics Commissioners of the Ministry of Finance Kamshat Arystanbekova and the State Revenue Committee Taskin Akbayev met with the staff of the State Revenue Department for the city of Ekibastuz.

Opening the event, Marat Beisenov, Deputy Head of the State Revenue Department and Ethics Commissioner of the Department, stressed that the main purpose of the meeting was to prevent violations and create a positive image of the civil service.

During the meeting, key aspects of compliance with the standards of professional ethics, as well as topical issues of anti-corruption legislation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the observance of the Code of Ethics of Civil Servants, as well as the prohibition on the participation of civil servants in gambling.

At the end of the event, the Ethics Commissioners answered questions from specialists regarding the status of civil servants and the prospects for salary increases.
