Indicators of intraregional analysis on the dynamics of socio-economic development of cities of regional significance and districts of the East Kazakhstan region for the 2nd quarter of 2025

As part of the quarterly intra-regional analysis on the dynamics of socio-economic development of cities of regional significance and districts, the activities of regional mayors are assessed by 21 indicators.

According to the results of the 2nd quarter of 2025, out of 13 cities and districts:

- with high dynamics of development (1-4 places): Katon-Karagaysky, Tarbagataysky, Zaisansky and Ulansky districts;

- with average development dynamics (5-9 places): Ust-Kamenogorsk, Samar, Shemonaikhinsky, Markakol and Glubokovsky districts;

- with low dynamics of development (10-13 places): Ridder city, Altai, Ulken Naryn and Kurchum districts.

Altai district – 10th place. Low values of indicators for IFO of industrial production, manufacturing industry products, investments in fixed assets, private investment, construction work, growth rates of housing commissioning, the number of people provided with safe drinking water, the volume of tax and non-tax revenues to the state budget, the proportion of the population positively assessing the activities of city/district akims.

Ulken Naryn district – 11th place. Low values of indicators for the growth rates of operating small and medium-sized businesses, the volume of tax and non-tax revenues to the state budget, own budget revenues in the contingent of budgets of cities and districts, the effectiveness of the work of city/district akims in social networks.

Ridder City – 12th place. Low values of indicators for IFO of industrial production, manufacturing industry products, investments in fixed assets, private investment, retail turnover, growth rates of housing commissioning, coverage of children with preschool education and training aged 2-6 years, employment of 10 thousand unemployed persons for vacant vacancies, changes in the crime rate per 10 thousand population, the proportion of the population is positive evaluating the activities of city/district akims.

Kurchum district – 13th place. Low values of indicators for IFO investments in fixed assets, construction work, growth rates of operating small and medium-sized businesses, the volume of own budget revenues in the contingent of budgets of cities and districts, the coverage of children with preschool education and training aged 2-6 years, the incidence of tuberculosis per 100 thousand. reduction of the proportion of neglected cases
(stage III – IV) of oncological diseases, the proportion of the population positively assessing the activities of city/district mayors, the effectiveness of the work of city/district mayors in social networks and the implementation of KPIs by city/district mayors.
