Belgrade, September 24, 2025 – An official presentation marking the launch of direct flights between Astana and Belgrade, operated by Scat Airlines, was held in the capital of the Republic of Serbia.

The event brought together representatives of Serbian travel agencies, business associations, and media outlets.

In their opening remarks, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Serbia emphasized that the establishment of this “air bridge” is in line with the instruction of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and reflects Kazakhstan’s initiative to enhance cooperation with Serbia across all sectors.

The management of Scat Airlines, along with Kazakhstani tourism companies, highlighted the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, showcasing the country’s most attractive destinations to Serbian partners.

Serbian travel agencies expressed strong interest in the new direct route, noting that it will provide Serbian travelers with the opportunity not only to discover Kazakhstan but also to explore the wider Central Asian region.

As part of the event, Scat Airlines awarded three participants with complimentary tickets for Belgrade–Astana flights and announced the start of ticket sales. The flights will operate twice a week beginning November 3, 2025.
