September 22, 2025, New York – President Tokayev met with Frank Bruno, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer of Cerberus Capital Management.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev praised the global leadership of Cerberus Capital Management in investment management, welcoming the company’s interest in financing infrastructure projects under the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) development. 

According to the President, the company’s strategy aligns closely with Kazakhstan’s priorities for diversifying the national economy. Our country has actively begun expanding the route’s throughput capacity, attracting investments in transport and logistics infrastructure.

The Head of State also noted that the signing of the historic agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington has positively impacted the growing importance of the Middle Corridor as a key trade route. Over the past five years, the volume of freight traffic along the TITR has increased sixfold.

In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited Cerberus to participate in Kazakhstan’s digital initiatives, highlighting the company’s significant experience in scaling technological platforms and digital ecosystems.
