On September 24, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Rasul Jumaly, visited the city of Qalamoun, located in the north of the country. During a meeting, the city's mayor, Rawad Al-Helou, expressed a desire to establish comprehensive cooperation with Kazakhstan, which enjoys significant influence in the Muslim world. Qalamoun, historically one of Lebanon's commercial and cultural centers, is now known for its achievements in tourism, handicrafts, agricultural production, as well as science and education. During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat shared information about his country's capabilities and priority areas for developing bilateral cooperation.
