The Ministry of National Economy: Kazakhstan's economy is showing steady growth

According to Arman Kasenov, Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, GDP growth in the first eight months of this year was 6,5%, including 8,8% growth in the real sector and 5,1% in services. The best performing sectors were transportation, construction, trade, mining, manufacturing, and agriculture.
«Fixed capital investment increased by 14,3% to 11,5 trillion tenge. Compared to the same period in 2024, fixed capital investment growth was demonstrated by financial and insurance activities (204%), education (193%), manufacturing (134%), agriculture (129%), transportation (115%), and real estate transactions (111%)», - the speaker said at a press conference at the Central Communications Service.
In the first quarter of 2025, gross FDI inflows to Kazakhstan amounted to $6,6 billion, which is 6,2% more than in the same period of 2024.
