About 300 people, including school principals, accountants, and specialists responsible for material and technical support, participated in the forum "Anti-Corruption Culture: Good Steps Starting with Educational Institutions," according to the Regional Communications Service.

"This event is being held to prevent corruption, avoid mistakes, and explain new legislative changes to specialists. Fighting bribery is our shared responsibility. Fostering honesty begins in kindergartens and schools," Ainagul Duisekenova, Head of the Atyrau City Department of Education, noted.

A number of speakers spoke at the forum. Among them are Nurlan Yerkebayev, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Atyrau region; Ali Zhapar, a specialist at AsiaService LLP; Zhanat Dauylbayev, a member of the audit commission; Saltanat Tolepova, Head of the Public Procurement Department; and Samat Smakov, a representative of the Bilim-Innovation Foundation.
