A meeting on compliance with legislation in the field of public service, compliance with the requirements of the norms of official ethics of civil servants, prevention of corruption and ludomania was held in the Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region under the chairmanship of Talgat Baysyn, Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenue, Ethics Commissioner.

The heads of the Management and independent departments of the Department were involved.

During the meeting, T.Baisyn made a presentation and explained the legislation on civil service and the Code of Ethics for civil servants, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In order to create intolerance to all kinds of manifestations of corruption, a comprehensive system has been created to protect persons who have reported corruption. Measures to combat gambling addiction were discussed. The problem of gambling addiction in society is very acute, as it generates a whole range of social consequences: debts, family conflicts, increased crime, suicides, and others. It is noted that ludomania (gambling addiction) is recognized as a disorder of habits and drives. Among the main measures implemented by interested government agencies to combat gambling addiction are monitoring of Internet resources and social networks with the involvement of the public with an active civic position in this work.

Following the meeting, the heads of the relevant industries were tasked with ensuring strict compliance with current legislation and taking concrete measures to prevent and prevent violations, and monitoring compliance with the requirements of ethics standards by civil servants during working and non-working hours.
