On September 24, within the framework of the IV annual Republican Book Festival "Kitap time - 2025", a historical hour "wisdom of centuries" dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of Abu Nasir Al-Farabi,a world-famous thinker,philosopher, sociologist, mathematik,fischik, astronomer, botanist, linguist, researcher of logic and music was held in the Bastau rural library. The librarian introduced students of the 6th grade of Abay secondary school and readers to the biography and scientific activities of the scientist. Of particular interest were the legends about Al-Farabi,the fact that Al-Farabi wrote comments on almost all the works of Aristotle, and the contribution of the educator to the field of musicology was especially noted. The students briefly talked about the works of Al-Farabi and the librarian made a review. In this direction, he wrote the work "big book on music", in which he systematized information about Eastern and ancient Greek music. The video about" the life of Abu Nasir Al-Farabi " supplemented the biographical data of the scientist and thinker, showed the historical and everyday features of the era in which Al-Farabi lived.
