In accordance with subparagraph 7.1.38 of paragraph 7 of the Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union of November 27, 2009 № 130 (hereinafter - Decision № 130), vehicles with an electric motor, classified under the code TN VED 8703 80 000 2, enjoy a tariff concession when imported into the territory of the Customs Union.

At the same time, this decision for 2025 established a quota for the import of electric vehicles in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the amount of 15,000 units.

As of September 25, 2025, more than 13,000 electric vehicles were imported into the country, which is 87% of the established quota.

Thus, the remaining volume of the privilege is the import of less than 2 thousand electric vehicles, which is still available for import without customs duties under the current quota.

This information allows us to monitor the fulfillment of quota restrictions and plan further deliveries of electric vehicles to the Kazakhstan market.
