The fleet of the law enforcement troops has been replenished with new service vehicles. Drivers of the National Guard, having received their brand-new cars, decided to demonstrate their skills in an unusual way — on the parade ground they performed a real “autumn waltz” with the vehicles, impressing the audience.

A solemn ceremony of handing over service vehicles to the troops of the capital’s operational unit of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Astana. During the event, personnel were presented with the keys to 32 new vehicles.

Support in upgrading the vehicle fleet of the National Guard was provided by the city administration, thanks to which the new cars will modernize the material and technical base of the unit and enhance the combat readiness of servicemen. The vehicles will be used for maintaining public order, rapid response, and fulfilling other operational and combat tasks.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov.
He highlighted the importance of the new vehicles for ensuring the safety of the capital:

“The new cars will allow you to perform your service tasks efficiently, act quickly and decisively in any situation,” noted Major General Ansagan Baltabekov.

Today, servicemen of the National Guard, together with the internal affairs bodies, provide round-the-clock public order protection in major cities of the country. The arrival of new vehicles will significantly accelerate troop movements and improve the mobility of units.

It is worth noting that the same vehicles were also delivered to National Guard units in Almaty.

The servicemen celebrated the arrival of the new vehicles in an extraordinary way. Lining up the cars on the parade ground, they performed a synchronized dance composition, demonstrating not only coordination but also the practicality and maneuverability of the new equipment.

There is no doubt that the modern vehicles delivered to the National Guard will become an important element of ensuring security in the country’s largest cities.

Earlier this year, servicemen of the National Guard seized 173 units of weapons and ammunition, 828 grams of narcotics, and prevented 77 attempts of their sale. In addition, nearly 10,000 public order violators were handed over to the police, including 379 individuals detained on suspicion of crimes. Today, more than 7,000 guardsmen are on daily duty, safeguarding the internal security of the state.
