The Combat Sambo World Cup was held in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan. A serviceman of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in these prestigious international competitions.

Private Arman Turumbetov, a sapper of the combat support company of military unit 6655 of the “Batys” Regional Command, competed in the up to 58 kg weight category and won a well-deserved third place.

It should be noted that earlier, Arman Turumbetov had already achieved significant success on the international stage by winning a silver medal at the Asian and Oceania Combat Sambo Championship.

The guardsman’s achievements have made a valuable contribution to strengthening the sporting image of the Internal Troops and Kazakhstan as a whole, as well as demonstrating his high level of training, strong spirit, and determination to win.
