On September 26, a solemn event and a festive concert dedicated to the Day of the Nuclear Industry Worker took place at the city House of Culture. This professional holiday is of particular importance for Kurchatov, because it is here that the powerful scientific and industrial potential of Kazakhstan's nuclear science is concentrated. B.T. Abdraliev, Mayor of Kurchatov, addressed the workers and veterans of the industry with a congratulatory speech. He noted the high professionalism and dedication of the specialists, thanked them for their contribution to the development of the city and presented diplomas and letters of appreciation to the distinguished employees. The Director General of the National Nuclear Center, E.G. Batyrbekov, addressed his colleagues with a video greeting. S.S. Lokshtanov also presented awards for his significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry. The solemn meeting ended with a festive concert. As a sign of appreciation, the artists were presented with a basket of flowers from the National Nuclear Center.
