A solemn event dedicated to Labor Day, as part of the «Year of Working Professions», was held at the Arts Center under the chairmanship of Regional Akim Nurlybek Nalibayev. The event, titled «Adal Azamat - Adal Enbek», was attended by Senate and Majilis deputies N. Baikadamov and M. Abenov, heads of relevant agencies, city and district akims, labor veterans, and representatives of the intelligentsia and business organizations.
The regional akim emphasized that working people who have dedicated their selfless labor to the country's socioeconomic development deserve every respect.
«Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich declared 2025 the «Year of Working Professions». He said: «By promoting working professions, we promote the idea of hard work and true professionalism in society! People who have achieved success through honest and hard work should always be honored and respected».
This is a strategic step aimed at strengthening the role of blue-collar jobs as the main factor in economic stability and social progress.
Our ancestors sweated on the labor front in the name of the great ideals of our nation. Among them are 1,792 Heroes of Socialist Labor, 102 of whom were workers from our region.
A special place is occupied by Ibrai Zhakhayev, Academician of the Steppes, twice Hero of Socialist Labor, who founded his own school, educated students, and brought glory to our rice, as well as Salima Zhumabekova. The tireless work of our heroine mothers, such as Shyrynkul Kazanbayeva and Ulbala Altaibayeva, who received guidance from such great teachers, raised children, and served their homeland with patriotism, will forever remain in the memory of generations.
We are always proud of our fellow countrymen who, following the example of the older generation, have become «Heroes of Labor of Kazakhstan» in the history of our independent country: Roza Baglanova, Abdizhamil Nurpeisov, Askar Zhumadildayev, Yuri Pya, Abzal Yeraliyev, and Imamzada Shagyrtayev.
Serving the Motherland honestly, achieving success honestly, and being an honest citizen is our sacred duty on the path to a bright future for our sovereign country!
Once again, I congratulate everyone on this holiday and express my sincere gratitude and deep appreciation on behalf of the residents of our region and on my own behalf for your enormous contribution to the development of our region», - said N. Nalibayev.
At the event, organized to honor workers, cash prizes were awarded in each category. In particular, the winners in the «Uzdik enbek auletі», «Zhumys isteitin zhastardyn uzdik talimgeri» and «Ondiristin uzdik zhas mamany» categories received 500,000 tenge for first place, 300,000 tenge for second place, and 200,000 tenge for third place.
15 of the best industry specialists working in utilities and other sectors were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and certificates for 500,000 tenge.
Additionally, 15 labor veterans recognized as the best in their fields were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and sanatorium vouchers from the Kyzylorda Regional Trade Union Center. It's worth noting that the winners of the regional «Ulgili Eldi Meken» competition received 19 units of specialized municipal equipment, as well as certificates for 15 million tenge to finance improvement projects in villages not classified as core or satellite communities.
An exhibition of products from recipients of state grants was held in the lobby of the Arts Center.
