The grand opening of the International Investment Forum "Altai Invest – 2025" took place in East Kazakhstan. This large-scale event brought together representatives of government agencies, the business community, and international organizations.

Nurymbet Saktaganov, Akim (Mayor) of East Kazakhstan, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized that the forum will become an important investment magnet and will help open up new horizons for the region's economic development.

"President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev has set clear goals for the regions: to differentiate their economies, develop exports, and attract investment. This is a strategic focus. The results speak for themselves: 11 investment projects worth over 100 billion tenge are being implemented in the region. We expect new ideas and proposals from the forum that will help shape the region's future development strategy. East Kazakhstan invites you to join our team," emphasized Nurymbet Saktaganov.

Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakip Asanov noted that East Kazakhstan plays a strategic role in shaping the country's investment attractiveness. In his speech, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin expressed his readiness to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

"Our partnership is based on the principles of friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual assistance, and is built on the unshakable principles of equality and respect for each other's interests. And, of course, all joint projects will be promoted through joint efforts," noted Andrey Yatskin.

The forum program includes B2B meetings on current issues, an exhibition of investment projects in industry, agriculture, and tourism, and the signing of memorandums and agreements.

The main goal of "Altai Invest – 2025" is a comprehensive presentation of the investment and export potential of the East Kazakhstan Region. The focus is on discussing mechanisms for implementing joint projects, creating new growth opportunities in key economic sectors, and promoting the region as a reliable and attractive partner on the international stage.

The "Altai Invest–2025" forum will continue its work through plenary sessions, panel discussions, and presentations of investment projects covering industry, agriculture, tourism, and innovative technologies.
