As part of a large-scale information campaign to explain the new Tax Code, employees of the Department of State Revenue in Zhetisu region held an on-site seminar for entrepreneurs and residents of Kerbulak district.
The new Tax Code, which will come into force on January 1, 2026, is designed to fundamentally change the tax system of the country. The main goal is not just to change the norms, but to form a new mentality of taxpayers based on the principles of honesty, transparency and fairness.
The new Code is aimed at:
Reducing the administrative burden and creating favorable conditions for business development, especially in the key sectors for the region - agriculture, tourism and entrepreneurship.
The introduction of reduced corporate income tax (CIT) rates for socially important industries, such as medicine and education, will provide direct support to the social sphere of the region. At the same time, a progressive CIT scale and a tax on luxury goods will allow for a more equitable redistribution of income.
Increasing VAT and reducing the number of special tax regimes will help bring unscrupulous enterprises out of the shadows and create a level playing field for all market participants.
Timely familiarization with the changes and preparation for the new rules is the key to successful adaptation to the new economic conditions.
The next seminar within the framework of the information campaign will be held on September 30 in Panfilov district.
