The READY4TRADE Central Asia – Trade Facilitation regional technical dialogue was held in Kyrgyzstan.

Its objective was to ensure cross-border recognition of electronic certificates of origin in Central Asia.

The event was organized with the support of the European Union as part of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project, implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC), which aims to strengthen trade and transport links in the region with a focus on the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor.

Following the discussion, it was noted that to achieve the goal of increasing trade turnover between Central Asian countries, it is necessary to adopt regulatory decisions within the framework of international law, harmonize and ensure a technical framework, and resolve institutional and procedural issues.
