On September 29, trees collapsed in Kostanay as a result of a natural disaster, power lines were cut off, and the number of traffic accidents increased due to bad weather.

The Kostanay City Situation Center (as of 5 p.m.) received 168 calls regarding damaged green spaces (fallen, broken and hung trees).

242 calls from residents about power outages due to downed power lines and falling trees were registered.

Street lights were also turned off along Baymagambetov-Altynsarin Streets, along Baymagambetov Street along Pobedy Street, along Pobedy-Al-Farabi Street and along Baymagambetov Street along Baymagambetov Street. Nazarbayeva-Ordzhonikidze Street, Baymagambetova Street in the group of Victory streets towards the KBI district, Abilsai, Zhambyl, K. Marx, Leningrad lanes. 

Currently, the EPC-Forfyte Limited Liability Company has completed all restoration work at these addresses.

33 traffic accidents were registered during the day. There were also complaints from citizens about damage to vehicles, including from falling trees and other objects as a result of adverse weather conditions.

To ensure the normal condition of the road network and public places in inclement weather, I have instructed the Housing and Communal Services department and contractors to carry out all necessary work. About 50 units of specialized equipment (including brooms, dump trucks and loaders) and more than 240 road workers are involved.
