From September 25 to 30, the city of Urgench (Khorezm Region, Republic of Uzbekistan) hosted the World Championship in Universal Fight (UNIFIGHT).

This large-scale sporting event brought together the strongest fighters from 12 countries, turning the tournament into a true arena of courage, strength, and athletic spirit.

Kazakhstan once again confirmed its leadership on the international stage. Representing Burkit Team, serviceman of military unit 6655 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Azimzhan Kurbonboev, competed in the weight category up to 75 kg and won the world champion title and a gold medal!

This victory marks his third world champion title, once again proving his exceptional professionalism and the strength of the Kazakh school of universal fight.

The success of Azimzhan Kurbonboev is a significant contribution to the development of national sports and to strengthening Kazakhstan’s authority on the global stage.
