District akim Zhandos Yerkinbek inspected the progress of construction works at a number of socially significant facilities in Zhosaly settlement.
First, the district head visited the railway station building in Zhosaly, where major renovation works are underway.
The general contractor for this project is “RiA Service LTD” LLP. At present, the construction site has been fenced, and 80% of the façade finishing works have been completed according to the draft design, including insulation and cladding with travertine. The roof has also been fully dismantled. Inside the building, work is being carried out in parallel to remove drywall and tile coverings. Currently, 9 workers are employed at the construction site.

The next facility is the Sports and Fitness Complex. Here, both exterior and interior finishing works are progressing actively. As part of the exterior works, concrete walkways have been poured and paving stone (paver) installation has been fully completed. The complex is being fully fenced and brought in line with safety requirements. At present, interior doors are being installed. In addition, most of the electrical wiring works have been completed, and wiring related to the large sports hall is ongoing.

It should be noted that this sports complex annually hosts traditional regional and national competitions among young people in such sports as judo, sambo, and boxing.
