Since 1991, the International Day of Older Persons has been celebrated annually on October 1.

This holiday was proclaimed at the 45th session of the UN General Assembly under the name International Day of Older Persons. Subsequently, the name "International Day of Older Persons" was adopted in UN documents.

The Day of Older Persons is not just a day on the calendar, but a day of respect and gratitude to citizens who have served for years as models of wisdom, tolerance, and honest service.

To provide social support to the elderly and citizens with disabilities, employees of the North Kazakhstan Department of State Property and Privatization visited representatives of the Association of the Elderly, offering support and expressing goodwill.

During the meeting, sincere gratitude was expressed for their many years of dedicated work, extensive life experience, and significant contribution to the development of society.
