The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) provides various services to Kazakhstanis in digital format and continues to develop them, adapting to the needs of customers. The 24/7 availability of the Fund's services on the website and in the mobile application is an important condition for the growth of depositors' interest.
For the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.08.2025, the Fund provided 30.8 million services to the population. Of these, 17.7 million were conducted in electronic format, and 12.0 million in automatic format. Thus, the share of services in automatic, electronic and remote formats was about 98% of the total. 645.9 thousand services were provided in person, including 633.7 thousand directly at the Fund's offices.
We remind you that all pension accounts are opened in the UAPF automatically upon receipt of the first payment. Also, target requirements are automatically accrued to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 18 and target savings accounts are opened for accounting and crediting target savings to recipients of target savings under the National Fund for Children program.
In total, during the reporting period, the total number of automatically opened individual pension accounts (IPS) for all types of individual pension contributions, as well as conditional pension accounts (UPS, opened to account for mandatory pension contributions from the employer (OPVR), transferred by the employer at their own expense) and target savings accounts (CNS, opened for accounting and transfers of targeted savings to recipients of targeted savings under the National Fund for Children program) amounted to 1.14 million accounts.
As before, the most popular service is to receive an extract from an individual retirement account, a conditional retirement account, as well as a designated savings account. Since the beginning of the year, 19.4 million statements have been issued by IPS, UPS, and the Central Nervous System, of which 16.3 million are in electronic form and 2.7 million are in automatic mode. The UAPF reminds that receiving information about the status of accounts through a personal account is the most convenient, reliable and expeditious way to control your retirement savings. The service is online around the clock (24/7), which allows you to receive up-to-date information at any time and from anywhere in the world. Also, information about the status of accounts is available not only through the UAPF mobile application and personal account on the UAPF website, but also through the egov portal.kz or an e-government mobile application. This provides additional convenience for users who prefer to interact with government services through a single platform. The UAPF notes that, starting in 2025, the annual automatic mailing of statements by mail has stopped. At the same time, it is still possible to receive information about the state of pension savings by mail if a corresponding request is submitted to the UAPF.
In addition to receiving statements in their personal account on the website and in the mobile application, depositors (recipients) have the opportunity to use services such as making changes and additions to their banking details, obtaining a certificate of accounts, applying for pension payments due to the establishment of disability of group 1 or 2 indefinitely or in connection with reaching the age of fifty. through voluntary pension contributions, monitoring of the status of the application for payment, transfer of part of pension savings by the investment portfolio manager (IPM), predictive calculation of future pension using a pension calculator, etc.. For example, since the beginning of the year, 46.1 thousand applications from depositors have been accepted for the transfer of part of pension savings to the trust management of the UIP, of which 43.7 thousand are in electronic format.
In the 8 months since the beginning of 2025, 93.5 thousand applications were accepted for changing banking details, of which 88.5 thousand were at the Fund's offices.
When applying for a particular service from the specialists of the UAPF, depositors, as a rule, receive additional advice and advice on the formation of savings. As part of the information and explanatory work, 34.2 thousand field presentations were held, attended by 697.6 thousand people. The number of materials posted by the UAPF in the media amounted to 29.2 thousand.
The number of received appeals from depositors and recipients through feedback channels amounted to 354.2 thousand.
