In the large hall of the Youth Palace, a thousand teachers from all over the region excitedly accepted congratulations on their professional holiday.

Many warm words and sincere wishes were expressed to teachers, educators, college instructors and masters, and teachers of special and supplementary education in the region.

Kumar Aksakalov, Akim of the Kostanay Region, emphasized the importance of the teaching profession in his congratulatory address: “The government pays special attention to the development of education. Over the past three years, 23 educational facilities have been built in the region, and 5.5 billion tenge has been allocated to strengthen the material and technical infrastructure. Every year, our schools open modern subject classrooms and STEM labs, creating comprehensive conditions for developing students' abilities and fostering interest in science, including the use of artificial intelligence. The strength of a modern school lies not only in technology, but, above all, in the hearts of teachers.”

Student victories are the most precious reward for a talented teacher. The region has won nine prizes in international intellectual competitions. Our students took third place in the team competition at the Republican Olympiad for rural schools, winning 26 medals.

Young researchers also demonstrated excellent results, winning 16 prizes in the scientific project competition and four medals in international scientific competitions.

The regional akim also congratulated teachers on Vocational and Technical Education Day, which is celebrated in our country on October 2nd this year, especially during the Year of Working Professions.

Many warm words were also addressed to veteran teachers, who received a standing ovation from the audience.

Kumar Aksakalov awarded teachers in the region who have achieved significant results in their professional skills. Fifteen teachers were recognized for their achievements with the "Y.Altynsarin" badge, five received the "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" badge, and five were awarded the "Yenbek Ardageri" medal. Twenty teachers received certificates from the regional akim.

The regional akim presented Aigul Dankenova, a Kazakh language and literature teacher at Secondary School No. 17 in Kostanay, with the Ibrai Altynsarin badge. "Being a teacher is a great calling. Such high recognition for my achievements will be the foundation for future victories," she shared. "I want to thank my family, colleagues, and students for their constant support, which inspires me and gives me the desire to learn new things."

A total of 49 teachers will be awarded medals and badges in the region ahead of the holiday, and another 194 will receive certificates and letters of gratitude at the national and regional levels.

A festive concert featuring the region's best artists and groups provided a wonderful ending to the celebration and gave the audience many pleasant moments.
