On October 1, 2025, at the initiative of the Atyrau Department of State Property and Privatization, a meeting was held with Nurlan Tanirberdievich Yerkebayev, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Atyrau Oblast and Chairman of the Ethics Council.
The meeting was attended by Department employees, Amangeldy Amaniyazovich Abdolov, Head of the Representative Office of the National Center for Human Rights in Atyrau Oblast; Yerlan Nurlanovich Yesenov, Head of the Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology in Atyrau Oblast; Aidos Altybaevich Smail, Head of the Regional Department of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control in Atyrau Oblast; and employees of the Zhaiyk-Caspian Basin Inspectorate for the Use, Regulation, and Protection of Water Resources of the Water Management Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the latest legislative changes and reforms in the civil service, corruption prevention, civil servants' ethical compliance, and their rights and responsibilities were discussed.
Furthermore, the participants received specific clarifications on improving the effectiveness of the civil service, upholding professional ethics, and strengthening public accountability.
At the end of the meeting, Department Head Y. Zhanabayev expressed his gratitude to Nurlan Tanirberdievich Yerkebayev for the informative meeting and the valuable information he provided.
