Today, at the direction of the regional akim, Deputy Akim Bakhyt Zhakhanov inspected the city's preparations for the heating season.
Preparations for the upcoming important campaign are proceeding in accordance with the approved action plan.
At the Kyzylorda Combined Heat and Power Plant, modernization of one generator and four power transformers has been completed. Ten steam boilers and 20 independent boilers have also been repaired.
Six projects are being implemented to modernize the network in Kyzylorda. The work will be fully completed before the start of the heating season, providing more than 81,000 residents with a stable heat supply.
To date, 909 multi-story residential buildings and 1,079 social facilities connected to the centralized heating system are fully operational. The upcoming season will require 139,000 tons of coal, of which 117,000 tons are earmarked for household needs and 22,000 tons for social facilities. Regional operators are working to build up coal reserves in accordance with the approved schedule.
Overall, preparations for the heating season are under constant supervision by the regional Akimat.
