An application for tourists has been launched in Karaganda region qazeli.kz The digital service combines hotel and holiday home bookings, offers from tour guides and travel agencies. Everything is convenient and transparent. In one click, you can choose a route, reserve accommodation or an excursion and get reliable information about the tourist sites of the region.

The development was presented at a briefing on the site of the Regional Communications Service.

The initiators of the IT project received support several years ago a grant from the akim of the region.

- We have started developing a platform that will make tourism in Kazakhstan accessible in one click. The system is easy to use, convenient for booking and secure for payment. The main thing is that both users and travel agents get the real picture so that everyone can enjoy and enjoy traveling in Kazakhstan, said Rustam Bikbaev, the director of LLP "R-TOUR.KZ".

According to him, artificial intelligence was used in the development of the application, which analyzed more than 50 international travel sites and helped identify optimal solutions for family trips.

- Many people face the problem that when booking a room, the cost of children's accommodation is calculated incorrectly. We have made three age categories to reduce the price and take into account the actual occupancy of rooms. This approach is beneficial to users and opens up a new 2+2 segment with recalculation specifically for children," said Rustam Bikbayev.

Through the service, it is planned to promote the unique routes of the region, as well as the existing tourist clusters of Balkhash and Karkaralinsk.

- Digitalization of tourism is no longer a trend, but a necessity. The region has developed a virtual round-the-clock chatbot with artificial intelligence on the WhatsApp platform. The digital tool helps tourists get up-to-date information about attractions, routes, accommodation, meals, and safety regulations. Today we face the task of creating an ecosystem of digital tourism, where technology will serve people, and not the other way around. Coordinated work is important in this process - government, business, the IT sector and, of course, the travelers themselves," said Irina Lyubarskaya, Head of the Tourism Department.

She noted that Kazakhstan has already implemented national digital solutions: the portal Kazakhstan.travel It works in eight languages, and the eQonaq platform simplifies the registration of guests and makes the tourist flow transparent.
