On October 1, in honor of the International Day of Older Persons, District Akim Zhandos Erkinbek held a special meeting with veteran employees of the district akimat and expressed his festive appreciation.
– The Kazakh people have a wise saying: “A nation with elders is a nation rich in treasure.” Respecting and honoring elders is a tradition passed down from our ancestors. Your life experience and advice are of great value to us. Each of you has made a significant contribution to the growth and prosperity of our district. On this special day, I wish you good health, long life, family well-being, and happiness for your children and grandchildren, – said the district head.

During the event, veterans received festive gifts in recognition of their outstanding work and invaluable contribution to the socio-economic development of the district. In addition, Chairman of the Public Council Abdirakhman Kulduissenov emphasized the importance of showing respect and honor to veterans. The celebrants also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the district leadership and staff.

It should be noted that in Karmakshy district, various good initiatives are organized annually on the occasion of the Day of Older Persons. This is one of the many signs of respect shown to the older generation who have contributed to the nation’s development.
