Alan Kurmangaliev from Karaganda won bronze at the prestigious table tennis tournament in China

Karaganda tennis player Alan Kurmangaliev has replenished the piggy bank of his awards. He successfully competed at the prestigious China Youth Smash tournament in Beijing (China) and won the bronze medal.
The competition was attended by masters of small rackets under the age of 19, the strongest representatives of the world and Asian championships. The Karaganda resident was able to defeat strong, titled rivals from Singapore, Korea, and China.
According to experts and fans, Alan Kurmangaliev showed character and the highest level of play. In the quarterfinals, he beat world champion Li Hechen (China) 4-3. In the semifinals, he also met with the Chinese athlete, two-time world youth champion Venom Ruibo. As a result, he finished the tournament with a bronze medal.
Alan continues to delight the fans and his permanent mentor Elmira Aliyeva with his achievements.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the 28th Asian Championships are ahead, which will be held from October 11 to October 15 in the Indian city of Bhubaneshwar. The strongest tennis players of the continent from 22 countries will take part in it. The national team will include four Karaganda players - Alan Kurmangaliev, Zauresh Akasheva, Zhanerke Koshkumbayeva and Albina Zhaksylykova.
