Geneva, October 2, 2025 – The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva participated in the opening of the " Eurasian Economic Union Days" in Geneva, organized by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Belarus.

Chairman of the EEC Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva Tatyana Valovaya welcomed participants at the opening ceremony and a photo exhibition featuring the tourist destinations and natural landmarks of the EAEU member states, and emphasized the importance of consistently promoting regional economic integration and international cooperation to ensure sustainable development.

A roundtable discussion "EAEU Regional Economic Integration: Outcomes of 10 Years and Prospects for Partnership" focused on the EAEU's achievements as an integration entity and the practical aspects of interaction with UN agencies and other international organizations working in such areas as trade, transport, energy, labor, migration, and intellectual property.

Speaking at this event, Arsen Omarov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reaffirmed Kazakhstan's steadfast commitment to Eurasian integration and underscored key priorities for multilateral cooperation in the context of implementing President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's State of the Nation Address "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Solutions through Digital Transformation.
